“Madelyn and I had a one on one mentorship last year around this time for my birthday and she did an amazing job. Unlike a lot of people who try to teach you stuff, she asked everything I knew and what I wanted to know so that she wasn't just telling me a bunch or random things. Rather she was interesting my previous skill level into how she was teaching me to use my camera, Lightroom, photoshop and more of the things she uses. She made me feel comfortable about asking questions and we even got to take a look at some of the photos she'd taken of me for my birthday photoshoot. She also let me mess around with some photos on her iPad as well. Taking time to let me do some hands on things, again, rather then just over filling your head with a bunch of stuff to know. Overall my experience with her for the whole weekend that she was in the PNW for my birthday and mentorship she was amazing!
